Real Life/Real Impact Weekends
Real Life/Real Impact weekends are spiritual retreats geared for veterinary students. During these weekends, students have an opportunity to meet other Christian veterinarians in private practice, talk with some of CVM's long-term missionaries, find out about short-term mission trips with CVM, fellowship with students from other veterinary schools, and much more.
The weekends are packed to accommodate students' busy schedules. They are hosted by a veterinary school in your regional area, and up to six schools are invited. The weekends starts Friday evening with a fellowship dinner and a time of prayer. On Saturday, participants attend various talks and enjoy local cuisine, tour the hosting veterinary school's campus, and end the evening with praise and worship from a local band.
Registration for a Real Life Real Impact weekend is $30 per student or spouse, and includes dinner on Friday, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and 2 nights in a local hotel (for out of town guests). Hotel accomodations are automatically arranged once you register so please do not contact the hotel directly - if you have questions about lodging, please contact us. A list of speakers, schedule of events, and directions to the hotel will be posted nearer to the date of the conference. Be sure to mark your calendars now so you don't miss out! If you have any questions regarding the Real Life/Real Impact weekends, please contact the Student Outreach Department at studentinfo@cvmusa.org.
